Privacy: We keep your info private. If you submit personal information, it will be viewed only by the Alexa Forever staff and no one else. We will not post a photo of you without asking, but if you send it in as a submission we will assume that you will allow us to post it.
A. The forums and shoutbox are PG and any content this is deemed to be unsuitable will be removed by an administrator or moderator.
The following is a general list of content that will be removed.
* Any messages, pictures, phrases, jokes, etc. unsuitable for a PG audience. If you are not sure whether something which you want to post is appropriate, contact one of the administrators or moderators. (A list of their screen names can be found below.)
* Any links to websites which contain content inappropriate for a PG audience. This includes links to websites depicting graphic violence, nudity, or excessive inappropriate language. Please check over the site before posting a link to it.
In addition:
* A language filter is not in place. Do NOT swear in any way, shape or form. That includes using the word in another language. Your first offence will be a warning, your second a temporary ban, your third a permeant ban.
* Because our admins and moderators do not know every language that our members may know, you may only post in ENGLISH in the shoutbox and the forum, except in the "Foreign Language" subforum.
B. The chat room is also rated PG.
* Please do not chat about topics that aren't suitable for kids. We have members of all ages, so we want to make sure everything is okay for them to be here. If a topic is questionable, don't talk about it!
* A language filter is in place; please do not try to get around it by placing dots between letters. Please follow the forum rules.
* English is the only language allowed in the chatroom.
* The admins have access to chat scripts; therefore, we will know if you broke the rules, even if we weren't in the chatroom at the time.
* If someone is breaking the rules or offending you, do not respond to them. Leave immediately and report them to an admin so we can take action.
C. Be respectful of other members, including administrators and moderators.
* Do not openly "bash" another member on the forums or in the shoutbox. If you have an issue with another member, please utilize the private messaging system. You can "PM" another member by clicking on their name in the forum or shoutbox, which will bring you to that person's profile. Their profile contains a link to send a private message that person.
* Do not harress members thru the private message system. If you receive a threatening or offensive private message, please contact one of the administrators.
* Similarly, if you have an issue with an admin or moderator, use the private message system or email.
* Do not post questions regarding decisions by admins or moderators to delete posts or threads, edit posts, or ban members. Send a private message or email.
D. Personal Information
* Please refrain from publicly posting excessive personal information. This means addresses or phone numbers.
* Posting your picture is okay, but just remember that this is a public site. That means anyone can come here and view your posts.
* Posting your full name publicly is probably not a good idea.
* You may not post about "relationships" with other members, whether in the shoutbox or in the forums.
E. Is Alexa really a member here?
From time to time, people come here questioning whether or not Alexa is "really" a member here.
Clicking the "Gallery" link will let you see pictures which Alexa has given to Forever Alexa and which show that Alexa Vega is a member of the site, and does post in the forums.
Please keep this in mind when posting in the forum or the shoutbox. Be respectful and be courteous. Asking Alexa for her personal information, including instant messenger screen-name(s), address, phone number, email, etc. is NOT ALLOWED.
F. Pictures in the gallery
* You may NOT "hotlink" to photos in the gallery on other sites or forums. Nor may you repost photos without permission from an administrator.
* Tagged pictures may not be reposted on other sites. Do not try to remove the tag or watermark. Because these pictures were sent to Forever Alexa personally by Alexa herself, obviously we'll know they were taken from here.
G. And finally, a few notes:
If you violate these guidelines, your post will be deleted and a warning sent. Members who repeatedly violate these guidelines will be banned. A ban may last temporarily, or it may be permenant.
- If you have been banned, YOU MAY NOT REGISTER WITH ANOTHER SCREEN NAME. Your IP address is logged, thus we will be able to tell if you re-register.
- These rules apply to the guestbook, shoutbox, and forums. They also apply to private messages when the recipient has requested that you refrain from sending particular content to them.
- In addition, the rules apply in the Foreign Language forum if an admin or moderator finds that they were broken. Obviously this is not possible all the time, but occasionally we will use Babelfish or another translation service to get a general overview of what's going on.
- These rules are also GUIDELINES. What this means is that in the end, admins, and moderators have complete discretion as to how they will be enforced and applied. They may change at any time.
The rules aren't that hard to follow. Just rmember: this is a PG forum! So act as though you would in that kind of environment.
